Georgina Johnson was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas.
I have an identical twin sister, my best friend, and a younger brother, both of whom have served and retired from the military forces. I have three amazing children: a 26-year-old son, Tajae, and a 24-year-old daughter, Tazmier, living in Houston and Sacramento. My youngest, Tristan, who is 10 years old, keeps me young coaching his basketball teams, along with our little fur baby Drake. I have also been blessed with a sweet 2-year-old granddaughter, Kamora.
I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from Jackson State University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Belhaven University. (At one point while I resided in Jackson, MS…I had a desire to be a voice for the Jackson citizens and run for mayor of Jackson, MS.) That desire was shortly lived after I realized there was a bigger calling for me in helping change people’s lives.
I relocated to the DFW area in 2012 after feeling so confident that I landed a position with the Attorney General’s Office in Dallas. Unfortunately, my patience and the waiting game (4 weeks) began to put me on edge, knowing I needed some form of income, and through God’s grace, I landed a position as a production manager with a company in Fort Worth. The risk this company was taking with me was that I did not have any previous production or assembly line experience—ONLY that I possessed degrees and had experience in management and managing people. I was there for 7 years right before COVID hit.
In 2019, I decided to take another leap of faith and tap into the Transportation Industry. I assisted with running the daily operations of a small business. After 5 years, the BIGGEST lesson I learned was that I wanted to work for myself and make sure that whatever industry I tapped into, I wanted to have an impact on others.
In 2023, I became a staffing recruiter, which was extremely rewarding, meeting amazing people going through transitions in life and ultimately finding good placement(s) for them. However, while I was recruiting, I was also looking for other ways to change people’s lives and began working on my real estate license.
In 2024, I obtained my license, but unfortunately, life challenges occurred and created setbacks where I was not able to continue to pursue real estate.
Currently, 2025 has been the most amazing, rewarding, and ambitious year so far. I am extremely excited to join the BK Real Estate Brokerage and do what I’ve been called to do as a vessel in helping empower and change lives.
